Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis, who previously played for Nottingham Forest, could join the Persian Gulf Pro League, according to Africafoot‘s exclusive report.

Without a club since the end of August 2024, the 27-year-old, has been approached by several European clubs, including Antalyaspor, however, negotiations have not been successful.

Now he is tipped to sign for Persepolis in Iran. According to Africafoot’s reliable sources, discussions are open, and the player is not opposed to the Iranian club’s plans, which are seeking to strengthen their attacking line-up.

Persepolis recently managed to attract Serge Aurier to its ranks and would also like to sign Dennis now. New information suggests a two-year contract, with an optional additional year, is on the table.

Discussions are progressing between all stakeholders. An agreement should be reached shortly. Last season with Blackburn, where he was on loan, the Nigerian striker played only six matches and scored no goals.
