The winger scored a hat-trick in the 6-0 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt last December, becoming the second youngest player in Bundesliga history to achieve the feat and has racked up seven goals across all competitions this season.

Although the Ivory Coast forward still has about four-and-a-half years left on his contract, an exit could be sanctioned a substantial bid is made. Here are four clubs that could be potential destinations for the winger if he moves this month.

Liverpool (England)

Premier League champions Liverpool seem to be the most obvious destination for Diomande, who has also expressed admiration and desire to play for the club.

His ability to play on both flanks also makes him a valuable addition and would be a suitable replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose future at the club is uncertain and is likely to leave in the summer.

The forward’s pace and directness also makes him a perfect fit for the Reds fast-paced and counterattacking system.

Tottenham Hotspur (England)

Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur have also identified Yan Diomande as a potential reinforcement in the attacking areas.

Spurs are long admirers of the Ivory Coast forward and are encouraged by his ability to play on either flanks. The North London club are also short of options in attack and the sale of Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace has freed up space and money for a replacement.

Chelsea (England)

Chelsea have also expressed their interest in acquiring the services of Yan Diomande on a long term contract.

The 19-year-old fits the Blues profile of signing with his age and potential, although reaching a transfer fee with Leipzig could prove to be an obstacle.
