Lithuanian giants FK Kauno Žalgiris have officially unveiled Nigerian trio Victor Okechukwu, Ibrahim Gambo, and Al-Amin Khalid after completing their move from One Touch Football Club.
As earlier announced by footy-africa.com last month, that five Nigerian players had been recruited by the ambitious club, only three have now been formally presented, with the remaining duo still sorting out travel arrangements.
The players were discovered through the CSC Agency 2025 scouting initiative, a programme led by Babawo Mohammed and his team, aimed at identifying and promoting emerging football talents across Nigeria.
The initiative has increasingly become a launchpad for players seeking opportunities beyond the country’s borders.

Speaking exclusively to Footy-Africa, Babawo expressed satisfaction with how things have progressed so far:
“They have all trained with the team since last month, so I am glad the club has now made it official. We are working out some solutions for the other players who are waiting for their visas. However, they will be loaned to FK Jonava where they will start, and the club will monitor their progress.”
The two remaining players, Akusobi Davis and Kabir Adetunji who are still trying to sort out their visa issues, are expected to follow that pathway once their documentation is sorted.
On the pitch, the trio brings a blend of energy and versatility. Gambo is a dynamic midfielder capable of dictating play or pushing forward, while Okechukwu offers pace and creativity from the wings.
Khalid, meanwhile, provides balance as a disciplined defensive midfielder.
With Kauno Zalgiris boasting one of the biggest budgets in Lithuania, the newly unveiled players now have a strong platform to develop, adapt, and potentially make a lasting impression in European football.
