Belgium side KSC Lokeren has secured the signing of Eupen-born Ghanaian defender Ibrahim Digberekou, according to the official statement.

The right-footed central defender, who can also play at right back, will spend the 2025/26 season on a loan from German side Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Digberekou trained at Borussia Mönchengladbach and gained experience as a youth international with the Belgian U19s. With his height and physical strength, he brings added stability and competitiveness to the KSC Lokeren’s defense.

The youngster has already featured for Belgium’s U19s, but is still eligible to represent Ghana at senior level.

KSC Lokeren are targeting promotion this season and see Digberekou’s arrival as a statement addition, that will bolster their chances.

Digberekou’s current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €25.000.
