Omar Marmoush (€75 million)

Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush tops this list as the most valuable African footballer in the English Premier League with a market value of around €75 million.

The 26-year-old was one of the best performers in the German Bundesliga at the start of the 2024/25 season and earned a dream move to Manchester City in January.

Marmoush continued his fine form for the Cityzens, who endured a disappointing season, and also won the goal of the season award with a brilliant strike against Bournemouth in May.

Bryan Mbeumo (€70 million)

Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo has an estimated market value of €70 million, making him the second most valuable African footballer in the English Premier League.

The winger enjoyed a stunning 2024/25 campaign with Brentford, which earned him a high-profile switch to Manchester United in the summer.

He has been one of the best performers at the Red Devils this season and already has two goals to his name in the league.

Carlos Baleba (€60 million)

Closely following his Cameroonian teammate, Carlos Baleba has a market value of around €60 million.

The Brighton midfielder has developed into one of the best in his positions in the league since his arrival in England and could make a switch to a bigger club in the coming transfer window.

Manchester United were interested in signing the young midfielder in the summer and could return with an improved offer in January to complete the transfer.

Mohammed Kudus (€55 million)

Ghana international Mohammed Kudus’ market value of €55 million makes him the fourth most valuable African footballer in the EPL.

The versatile attacker sealed a £55 million move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer after impressive performances at West Ham United since he joined the club from Ajax Amsterdam.

The 25-year-old currently has provided the most assists in the league this season (5) in just eight appearances for his new side.

Antoine Semenyo (€55 million)

Antoine Semenyo completes the top five with a market value of €55 million.

The Ghana forward opted to remain at Bournemouth in the summer despite interest from other clubs, but could secure a dream move away from the club in the coming months.

The winger has been very outstanding this season and has the second most goal contributions in the league with six goals and three assists, only behind Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
