Crystal Palace are on the brink of finalising the signing of Nigerian international and exciting attacker Christantus Uche, with the 22-year-old set to undergo his medical in London in the next hours, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
Uche, currently on the books at Spanish side Getafe, is expected to sign a four-year deal with the Premier League outfit before the transfer window closes tonight. Both Palace and Getafe have reached a full agreement, paving the way for the move to be completed on deadline day.
Speaking exclusively to Footy-Africa, a source at Christantus’ representatives at Pintex Sports Agency confirmed the reports from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano that the move is in its final stages:
“Yes, Uche is currently in London for his medical at Crystal Palace. All terms between Getafe and Palace have been agreed, and he is very excited about this new chapter. Joining the Premier League has always been a dream for him, and we’re confident he will add a lot of experience and quality to Palace’s attack.”

With his medical set for today and all paperwork already underway, the Eagles are expected to officially announce Christantus as their latest signing before the transfer deadline passes.
The experienced forward has built a solid career in Spain, having previously represented AD Ceuta FC and Moralo FC before making his mark at Getafe last season.
Meanwhile, Christantus, whose Transfermarkt valuation is estimated at €15 million, played 38 games for Getafe last season, and recorded four goals with seven assists, in what was also his debut campaign there.
At the international stage, the attacking midfielder has so far managed two caps for the Nigerian senior national team, The Super Eagles.
