AC Milan has suddenly become one of the favorites to land Nigerian attacking midfielder Christantus Uche‘s transfer, according to Milan News.

Geoffrey Moncada, the AC Milan’s technical director, personally attended the match between Sevilla and Getafe in La Liga to scout the 22-year-old.

According to the report, the Italian side haven’t finished their transfer activity for the summer, as they are pursuing Uche.

Earlier on Moday media reports confirmed that English Premier League side Wolverhampton have made an official offer to Getafe for Uche.

Under contract with Getafe until June 2028, with an option to extend for one year, Uche receives an annual salary of €180,000.

Last week it was reported that, besides Wolverhampton, Nice, Sunderland, Burnley, and Leeds United were all considering to pursuit the transfer of the versatile attacking midfielder.

During the 2024/25 season, the Nigerian appeared in 38 matches in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.
