Nigerian midfielder Moses Ajene Jnr has completed his return to Albanian First Division side KS Kastrioti, Footy-Africa can report.
A source suggested the 22-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Albanian club. The Ikon Allah Football Academy graduate had a brief spell with KF Skënderbeu.
Ajene, is a Kaduna-born midfielder who has built his career in Albanian football. He first joined Skënderbeu before moving to Kastrioti, where he established himself as an important member of the squad.
The midfielder enjoyed a productive spell with Kastrioti, making more than 30 appearances during the 2025/26 campaign. He also scored twice in the Albanian First Division and featured regularly throughout the season.
Ajine’s return represents a continuation of his development in Albania, where he has gained valuable experience competing at both first- and second-tier level.
According to a source close to the player, the new agreement will keep the Nigerian at Kastrioti as he looks to continue his progress in European football.
His return also comes after a short spell away from the club with Skënderbeu, where he previously featured in the Albanian top flight.
The midfielder is expected to play an important role for Kastrioti as they prepare for the new campaign.
