Nigerian teenager Allele Junior Obele has been promoted to the first team of KF Vllaznia Shkodër after an impressive season with the club’s Under-23 side, as interest in the winger continues to grow across Europe and the Middle East, according to Africafoot.
The 19-year-old’s elevation to the senior squad follows a breakthrough campaign in which he helped Vllaznia’s development team secure the Albanian third-division title. Operating primarily on the left flank, Obele contributed nine goals and seven assists, emerging as one of the standout performers in the club’s youth setup.
His rapid progress has not gone unnoticed.
According to reports, scouts from clubs in Italy, France, Belgium, Greece and Bulgaria have monitored the young winger’s development, while teams in Eastern Europe and Qatar are understood to be among the most active admirers ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite the growing attention, Vllaznia’s immediate plan is to integrate the Nigerian into the senior squad for the 2026-27 campaign. Unless a substantial offer arrives, Obele is expected to begin pre-season with the first team as the club prepares for domestic competition and its upcoming UEFA Conference League qualifying fixtures.
The promotion represents a significant step in the player’s development journey. Since arriving at Vllaznia, the objective had been to progress through the club’s ranks and eventually earn a place in the senior setup—a target he has now achieved through consistent performances and attacking productivity.
Known for his pace, direct dribbling and ability to create chances from wide areas, Obele is increasingly being viewed as one of the emerging Nigerian talents to watch in European football.
His promotion comes at an important moment for Vllaznia, who are looking to strengthen their squad depth ahead of a demanding season that could include European competition. For Obele, meanwhile, the opportunity offers a platform to test himself at senior level while continuing to attract attention from clubs across the continent.
With interest building and a first-team opportunity now secured, the coming season could prove pivotal in shaping the next stage of the young Nigerian’s career.
