The Nigerian international and forward Nathan Tella may be looking at possible return to England as several Premier League clubs are scouting the versatile 26-year old.
According to TBR Football, scouts from as many as five different team including Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley, attended Bayer Leverkusen friendly at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.
With the new Premier League season starting next week, teams are expected to act fast in order to secure the dynamic Super Eagle’s, who is comfortable in any position across the frontline, transfer to bolster their squad.

Tella emerged as a desirable transfer target for European clubs after his highly successful seasons with Bayer Leverkusen, winning Bundesliga, German Cup and German Supercup.
Last season he registered 40 caps across all domestic and international competitions, scoring four goals and making five assists.

His career began as an Arsenal youngster in 2015, though he never made to the first team. After his move to Southampton two years later, he got a chance to debut in Premier league. In 2023 the Saints acquired €23.30 million for Tella’s transfer to Bayer.
His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €15.00 million.
