Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor have increased their asking price for Nigerian midfielder Ibrahim Olawoyin to €2.5m after Al Fateh expressed interest in the player, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.
A reliable source close to the situation told Footy-Africa that Rizespor have raised their valuation following interest from Saudi Arabian side Al Fateh, who have emerged as a potential destination for the Nigerian.
Saudi club Al Taawoun are also understood to be involved in negotiations as competition for the midfielder’s signature continues.
Despite the increased asking price, Olawoyin is keen to leave Rizespor and is eager for a move that would provide him with a fresh challenge.
The source told Footy-Africa that the player “really wants to leave”, with his representatives working to find a suitable solution.
