Sevilla FC and Nigerian attacker Kelechi Iheanacho have reached an agreement for the termination of the player’s contract, who was linked to the club until June 30, 2026.
Iheanacho joined the club last summer after his contract with Leicester City had expired. He played eleven matches for the Red and Whites, scoring three goals. He also played 15 games during his half-season loan at Middlesbrough FC, an English club for which he scored one goal and assisted twice.
“The club would like to thank Iheanacho for his work during this time and wish him the best of luck for the future,” the official statement says.

Previously, rumors linked the former Manchester City player with Mexico city-based giants Pumas UNAM, but Africafoot denied them.
Now it is reported that 28-year-old is to be packing his bags on the way to Scotland, as Celtic FC scramble to replace Adam Idah, who completed a £7m switch to Swansea City earlier yesterday, The Celtic Star confirms.
The termination of his current will definitely help Iheanacho to find a new home, it does strike of desperation from Celtic as they look to do their business in the closing stages of the window despite months to prepare, media notices.
His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €4.50 million.
