Just before the transfer deadline, PEC Zwolle strengthened its squad with the signing of England-born of Ghanaian descent Shola Shoretire on a loan from PAOK Saloniki.
PAOK’s Technical director Gerry Hamstra welcomed the 21-year-old to the club.
“Shola is a creative and technically gifted striker who has completed the entire Manchester United academy. In the final weeks of the transfer window, we’ve been actively looking for a creative attacker who can also play in multiple positions up front. Shola arrived late on the market, and we’re therefore pleased to have been able to sign him”, he noted.
