Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor have submitted an offer for Ghana U-20 midfielder Lord Afrifa, a source close to the player has confirmed to Footy-Africa.
The 20-year-old is set to become one of the most sought-after Ghanaian free agents this summer after agreeing with Austrian club SK Sturm Graz not to extend his stay beyond the expiration of his contract.
Sources indicate that Kayserispor have already made their move, with negotiations underway as the Turkish outfit look to secure the midfielder’s services ahead of the new season.

While the financial details of the proposal remain undisclosed, sources suggest the package being discussed is worth in the region of €250,000 to €300,000 per year, a figure considered competitive for a young player arriving on a free transfer.
Afrifa’s current market value is estimated at around €175,000, making him an attractive option for clubs seeking a promising young midfielder without having to pay a transfer fee.
The former Great Olympics player has also attracted interest from Belgium and Austria, while several other clubs in Turkey’s top flight are monitoring his situation closely.
Afrifa joined Sturm Graz in 2024 on a two-year deal after impressing for Ghana at youth level.
