Czech Republic side Sparta Prague have turned down an offer from fellow Czech club Bohemians 1905 for the outright purchase of 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder Nelson Okeke, Footy-Africa reports.
Footy-Africa has gathered that Bohemians 1905βs bid to sign Okeke on a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell has fallen through, as Sparta Prague insists the Nigerian winger is not for sale.
Okeke joined Sparta Prague from a Nigerian club in 2018, but after struggling to break into the first team, he was loaned out to Bohemians 1905 to gain experience and enjoy more playing time.
During his loan stint with Bohemians 1905, the highly-rated Nigerian midfielder scored two goals in seven appearancesβan impressive return that prompted the club to open negotiations for a permanent transfer.
Despite interest from several other clubs and only six months remaining on his contract, Sparta Prague are determined to keep hold of the midfielder.
