Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has agreed a one-year contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab, with the transfer now at the final stage, sources have confirmed to Footy-Africa.
Partey has completed his medical examinations in Riyadh ahead of signing his contract with the Saudi club.
The 33-year-old has passed the medical and is now awaiting the completion of the final paperwork before Al Shabab officially announce his arrival.
The move follows earlier reports by Footy-Africa that Partey had attracted interest from several Saudi clubs, with Al Nassr among those keen on signing the experienced midfielder.
However, Al Nassr were unable to reach an agreement with the Ghana international, paving the way for Al Shabab to advance negotiations and secure his commitment.
Sources close to the negotiations revealed that initial discussions centred on a two-year contract, but the agreement was eventually reduced to one year.

Parteyβs ongoing legal situation is understood to have been a factor in the length of the contract. He is due to appear in court in October 2026 in connection with allegations of rape, which he denies.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his immediate future, Partey has maintained his fitness throughout the off-season as he prepared for his next challenge.
Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal that the midfielder spent more than $50,000 on his pre-season fitness programme, ensuring he would arrive at his new club in strong physical condition.
Partey has been without a club since leaving Villarreal at the end of the 2025/26 season and is now set to continue his career in the Saudi Pro League.
The final paperwork is expected to be completed before Al Shabab formally announce the Ghanaian midfielder as their latest signing.
