Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi arrived in Turkey to continue the negotiations with Besiktas and undergo a medical check-up at the club’s facility, according to team’s media statement.
The 28-year-old has successfully passed a medical check-up in Istanbul and already tried on the Black Eagles’ jersey ahead of the official signing.
“It’s really amazing. This is my second time in Turkey. And I feel really great: to be joining Besiktas is really amazing for me. I want Besiktas fans to enjoy this season. We’ll see what comes out of it. I’ll try my best to support the team,” Ndidi said.

Transfer rumors on Ndidi leaving Leicester City began after the Foxes couldn’t secure their place in English Premier League and were relegated to the Championship. Then it became clear that the player doesn’t want to play in England’s second tier.
Ndid joined Leicester City from Genk in January 2017. Last season, he made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing five assists.
