English Premier League side Wolverhampton have made an official offer to Getafe for the permanent move of Nigerian attacking midfielder Christantus Uche, according to Fabrizio Romano.

According to the report, the Wolves are ready to pay €20 million to bolster their squad and acquire the 22-year-old as soon as possible.

Another renowned journalist Liam Keen adds that while Wolverhampton’s representatives are working on negotiating personal terms with Uche, it’s believed that there is hope of getting it over the line.

Last week it was reported that, besides Wolverhampton, Nice, Sunderland, Burnley, and Leeds United were all considering to pursuit the transfer of the versatile attacking midfielder.

During the 2024/25 season, the Nigerian appeared in 38 matches in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.
