Belgian side Zulte Waregem are seriously considering signing Nigerian forward Musa Malik, with the 17-year-old set to undergo a trial before any deal is finalised, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.
The teenager has attracted attention following a series of impressive performances for Nigeria Premier Football League club Ikorodu City.
Sources close to the player say the trial in Belgium will last several weeks, after which Zulte Waregem will decide whether to offer him his first professional contract.
The deal could be agreed should the player impress the technical crew of the Zulte Waregem.
Malik has also generated interest from clubs in Sweden, France and Norway.
Earlier this year, he spent time on trial with Swedish club AIK, where he was assessed after travelling to Stockholm.

The youngster has also been linked in media reports with Spanish club Barcelona, although no formal approach has been confirmed.
Malik made his senior debut for Ikorodu City against Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League last season.
He had previously registered three assists on his debut in the Nigerian National League, underlining his potential at a young age.
The forward will now hope to impress during his spell in Belgium and earn a move to the newly promoted Belgian side.
