Gambian centre-back Musa Jatta has attracted interest from Bulgarian champions PFC Ludogorets Razgrad after receiving an offer for a potential transfer from Swedish side Östers IF, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
According to Transfermarkt, Jatta currently has an estimated market value of €150,000. His agent, Modou Lamin Beyai, has been confident of his rapid growth.
The highly rated defender has enjoyed an impressive start to life in Sweden following his move from Finnish club AC Oulu in January 2026, with his performances already catching the attention of one of Bulgaria’s biggest clubs.
Jatta has quickly established himself as a regular in Östers’ backline, starting three of the club’s opening four Superettan matches this season. He has accumulated 311 minutes on the pitch, demonstrating consistency and composure in defence as he continues to adapt to Swedish football.
‘Clear vision for Musa’ – Jatta’s representative on his move to Östers IF
The former BST Galaxy FC standout has formed part of an impressive Gambian contingent at Östers alongside compatriot Musa Njie, with both players playing key roles in the club’s positive start to the campaign.
Known for his strength, aerial ability and calmness in possession, Jatta has continued to enhance his reputation as one of The Gambia’s promising young defenders. His rapid adaptation since arriving from Finland has now placed him on the radar of Ludogorets, a club that regularly competes in UEFA club competitions and dominates Bulgarian football.
A move to the Bulgarian champions would represent another significant step in the youngster’s career, offering him the opportunity to challenge for domestic honours and gain valuable experience on the European stage.
