Senegal vs Egypt Match Preview
Senegal head into the clash in very impressive form and on the back of a dominant 1-0 win over Mali in the quarterfinals. The 2021 champions took control of the game from start to finish against their opponents who were reduced to 10 in the first half.
The Lions of Teranga had previously beaten Sudan 3-1 in their Round of 16 clash, which followed a very impressive group stage campaign when they finished top of Group D with seven points from their three matches. Papa Thiaw’s side will be hoping for another repeat of the 2021 AFCON final, when they beat Egypt on penalty shootout to win their first-ever title.

Meanwhile record holders Egypt, head into the clash on the back of a very impressive outing in their last match when they ousted defending champions Ivory Coast 3-2 in their own quarterfinal clash.
Omar Marmoush and Mohamed Salah both scored in that encounter, which marked the second time both superstars scored in the same game in Morocco so far. The Pharaohs finished top of Group B and then went on to defeat Benin Republic 3-1 after extra-time in their Round of 16 encounter.
