Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor is interested in Nigerian international and Olympiacos defender Bruno Onyemaechi, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
Footy-Africa gathered that Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor are monitoring the situation of the Nigeria international at the Greek Club.
The 25-year-old defender is understood to be open to a move away from the Greek champions amid frustration over limited playing time.
Trabzonspor have been linked with Onyemaechi for several months, although no formal offer has yet been made.
Nigerian journalist and transfer expert Buchi Laba said Olympiacos could be willing to sanction a transfer if their valuation is met.
“The interest is real and has been there for some time,” Laba exclusively told Footy-Africa. “The player is unhappy with his lack of adequate playing time and would be happy to move on.

“However, things could change from Olympiacos’ point of view due to his impressive performances for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations. He has a contract until 2028 and a move would depend on a club matching their valuation, either in January or the summer.”
Onyemaechi joined Olympiacos from Portuguese side Boavista in January 2025.
The left-back caught the eye for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, playing a key role as the Super Eagles reached the semi-finals.
