Highly rated Nigerian youngster Oladimeji Abdulmuiz has completed a move to Swedish giants IF Elfsborg from renowned Nigerian academy Beyond Limits, Footy-Africa confirms.
The 17-year-old midfielder has signed a contract running until the summer of 2029 and is expected to officially link up with the senior team when he turns 18 in June.
Footy-Africa gathered that Elfsborg first developed an interest in Abdulmuiz during the 2025 Gothia Cup and have since closely monitored his progress in Nigeria.
Although he attracted interest from several clubs in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, Elfsborg ultimately won the race for his signature.
Abdulmuiz is regarded as a confident and uncompromising midfielder with a strong understanding of the game, excelling both in build-up play and defensive positioning.
The youngster will spend a few weeks in Borรฅs to familiarize himself with the club before returning permanently in June to join the menโs team.
Footy-Africa reported in December that around five Beyond Limits players were set to move to Europe. Since then, Sodiq Lawal has joined Kalmar FF in Sweden, Isaac Chukwudi signed for Zalaegerszegi, and Abdulmuiz is now the latest to secure a European move.
