Italian Serie A side ACF Fiorentina announces the permanent acquisition of the Ghanaian right-back Tariq Lamptey from Brighton & Hove Albion F.C, according to the official statement.
Previously, it was reported that the 23-year-old would complete his move for a fee of around £6 million (€6,9 million), including performance-related add-ons.

Lamptey, born in Hillingdon, UK, on September 30, 2000, came through the Chelsea youth academy. Over the past five seasons, he has made 122 appearances for Brighton in the Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup, scoring five goals and providing 12 assists.
In June, Brighton & Hove Albion have secured the services of Lamptey for another year, after the dynamic right-back penned a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The new Viola player has also made 11 appearances for the Ghana senior national team.
His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at around €11 million.
