Nigerian-eligible youngster Lukas Uchenna Heavens looks set for the next big step in his career in the upcoming summer transfer window, with several clubs already showing a strong interest in signing him, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
The German-born forward is currently without a club after leaving the Borussia Dortmund academy, but he has continued to attract attention from teams across Europe due to his impressive potential.
Heavens is presently training with German lower division side ETB Schwarz Weiß Essen and is expected to link up with Glacis United in May for a trial with their first team. Dutch side Fortuna Sittard are also keen to take a closer look at him later this month, with the possibility of offering him a long-term deal if he impresses, which could also set him up for a bigger transfer later in his career.

The highly rated 17-year-old, who has committed his international future to Nigeria ahead of Germany, has also drawn interest from Dutch clubs such as Volendam and Twente. Meanwhile, English Championship side Millwall are also believed to be monitoring his situation closely and are also in the race for his signature.
Having been discovered by popular Nigerian scout Samuel Aloga, Heavens is also on track to make his debut for Nigerian U-20 side later this year.
His playing style has also drawn comparisons to Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, raising hopes that he could develop into a key figure for the senior side in the future and potentially be a long-term replacement for the Galatasaray forward.
