Germany enter this clash in search of their first win of this year’s Nations League tournament, after recording one draw and one defeat in their opening two games, leaving Klopp winless in his new role in charge. The ex-Liverpool coach named 44 players for the tournament, and while the first half have played in the first two games, their next two matches against Serbia and Greece will feature another set of players.
Serbia, on the other hand, have also endured a tough start to their campaign as well and currently have no wins in their opening two matches. The Eagles gained promotion to League A at the end of the 2022-23 edition after finishing top of their group, which also included the likes of Norway, Sweden and Hungary and have been competing at the highest level since then.
They began their campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Greece before losing to the Netherlands by the same scoreline just a few days later.
