Known for his prolific goalscoring, the striker has scored twice in two appearances since moving to Turkey and will hope to open his European account for the club in their opener against Poland side Legia Warsaw.

The 29-year-old is not new to shining on the big stages, having scored twice and provided one assist for Red Star in their UCL campaign last season.

Christantus Uche (Crystal Palace)

Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche also prepares for his European debut for Crystal Palace against Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kyiv in their Conference League opener.

Uche’s quality is never in doubt, with a series of impressive displays for Getafe, before joining the Eagles on summer transfer deadline day.

Uche has made just few appearances for the club this season, but is a player that can light up the stage when called upon at any period of the game.

Emmanuel Uchenna (Sparta Prague)

Since joining Sparta Prague in 2024 from Banik Ostrava, Nigerian defender Emmanuel Uchenna has developed into an integral part of the squad.

He featured in all of his side’s qualifying matches for the competition, helping them to victories over Aktobe, Ararat-Armenia and Riga FC.

The 21-year-old is a major threat from set-pieces and will play an important role in Sparta Prague’s opener against Shamrock Rovers.

Rahim Ibrahim (Slovan Bratislava)

Ghanaian midfielder Rahim Ibrahim will feature for Slovan Bratislava in this season’s UEFA Conference League, starting with their matchday one clash against French side Strasbourg.

The 24-year-old will hope to provide stability in midfield for his side, as they hope for a better European outing this season, following last season’s disappointing UCL campaign.
