Jose Daniel Jimenez, the agent of Thomas Partey, has stated that the player is currently focused on holidays and will keep assessing his future, there is no decision at the moment.

Partey, 31, has been negotiating a possible new deal with Arsenal following the impending expiry of his current contract, which will make him a free agent.

It was revealed a few months ago that Partey seeks a two-year deal or a one-year deal plus an option to extend for a further 12 months to stay at Arsenal.

“In the future, all is possible. For now, Thomas Partey is on holiday. I’ve listened to offers from different clubs, and for now, Thomas is enjoying his scouting tournament. What happens next, nobody knows,” Jose Daniel Jimenez said in an exclusive conversation with Footy-Africa.

Jimenez also believes Partey is one of the best in the world at his position and produced great numbers in the just-ended season for the Gunners.

“If you look at Thomas’s numbers, it was the best season of his career. For me, he’s a special player. When Thomas doesn’t play, you can see in the national team or at Arsenal that it is difficult for them,” Jimenez added.

Partey netted four goals and added two assists in 35 Premier League games for Arsenal last season.
