Ivory Coast and Ecuador will begin their 2026 FIFA World Cup journeys when they face off at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
With Germany widely considered the favourites to top Group E and Curaçao completing the group, this encounter is expected to play a significant role in determining who advances to the knockout stage.
Both nations, however, possess enough quality and ambition to challenge expectations and potentially upset the established order in the group.
