New York City-born Ghanaian central midfielder Yunus Musah is on the verge of joining Italian Serie A side Atalanta BC, as the Nerazzurri reached an agreement with AC Milan over the transfer, Fabrizio Romano confirms.
It’s reported that the promising 22-year-old will join his new team on a loan, while Atalanta will have a non-mandatory option to buy.
“Total package worth €25m between loan fee and potential future buy. Musah will sign the new deal at Milan before going out on loan,” Romano added.
Musah’s current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €20 million.

Mensah, who represented the United States at the 2022 World Cup but also has Ghanaian heritage, endured a stop-start first campaign at San Siro.
Despite racking up 33 appearances across all competitions, he struggled to cement a regular starting berth in Stefano Pioli’s midfield.
