Liverpool, meanwhile, are six on the standings with 42 points, three behind fourth-placed Manchester United as they continue their battle to secure a Champions League spot at the end of the season.
The Premier League champions endured a tough spell between October and November and despite several other inconsistencies, they have won two of their last three league games to put them in contention for a UCL place at the end of the campaign.

Super Eagles defender Ola Aina will be keen to make a good impression of himself under Vitor Pereira.
The right-back will be one to keep an eye on during the clash as he will be tasked with keeping the left side of Liverpool’s attack at bay.
