Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis is set to make a decision on his future in the coming days following interest from a number of clubs across Europe, according to an exclusive report by Footy-Africa.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave Turkish side Göztepe this summer, despite having two years remaining on his contract, with the club willing to listen to offers.
Championship club Coventry City had been regarded as the frontrunner to sign the defensive midfielder after positive talks over a potential move.
However, Footy-Africa understands that interest from the German Bundesliga has intensified, with RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt emerging as contenders for his signature.
Union Berlin and Mainz have also monitored the Nigerian, while Villarreal, Anderlecht and Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Beşiktaş have all been linked with the player.
Galatasaray enter race for Anthony Dennis amid Coventry City interest
Footy-Africa previously reported that Galatasaray had joined the race, and the Turkish champions are understood to have made contact with Göztepe as they look to reach an agreement.
Sources close to the player told Footy-Africa that Dennis and his representatives are now evaluating the offers on the table before making a final decision on his next destination.
Although Göztepe are understood to value the midfielder at around €8 million (£6.9m), Dennis’ priority is believed to be joining a club that offers regular first-team football and the opportunity to continue his development.
Dennis joined Göztepe from Nigerian side HB Academy and made 31 appearances in all competitions during the 2025-26 season.
