Gambian winger Kajally Drammeh is set to begin a new chapter in his career after reaching a full agreement to join UAE club Fujairah FC as a free agent, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
The deal has been completed, with all contractual documents signed by the relevant parties. The transfer is now awaiting an official announcement from the club.
Drammeh becomes available after the expiration of his contract with Armenian Premier League side FC Alashkert at the end of June, bringing to an end a successful two-year spell in Armenian football.
The former Real de Banjul FC winger spent two consecutive seasons in Armenia, representing FC VAN and later FC Alashkert. During his time in the country, he made 44 appearances across both clubs, scoring five goals and providing five assists while establishing himself as a consistent performer.
His impressive displays attracted interest from clubs across Europe, Africa and Brazil, with several teams exploring the possibility of signing the Gambian international. Despite the wide range of options available, Drammeh and his representatives carefully assessed each proposal before deciding on a move to the United Arab Emirates.
The transfer was overseen by his agent, Modou Lamin Beyai, whose guidance helped identify Fujairah FC as the most suitable destination for the next stage of the playerβs career.
The move offers Drammeh an exciting new challenge in the UAE, where he will look to build on the experience gained in Armenia and continue his development in a competitive environment.
Having consistently impressed over the past two seasons, the Gambian winger now arrives at Fujairah FC with the ambition of making an immediate impact and helping his new club achieve its objectives in the upcoming campaign.
