Newly promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town have completed a move for Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu from Leicester City ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The Tractor Boys have been very busy in the transfer window as they aim to extend their stay in the top flight and avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
Abdul Fatawu has been a subject of intense transfer speculation since the Foxes relegated to League One from the Championship last season, and the 22-year-old had also attracted interest from Italian side Napoli.
However, Ipswich have now agreed to sign the Ghanaian on a five-year deal for £20 million, making him their fifth arrival of the summer.
Fatawu scored 16 goals from 100 appearances for Leicester City and will be hoping to improve on that form after completing his move to Ipswich.

Salary details
Per Capology, Fatawu earned around £10,000 per week at Leicester City and will receive a massive pay rise after signing his contract at Ipswich.
The 22-year-old has penned a five-year contract, potentially keeping him at the club until the summer of 2031.

Abdul Fatawu joined Leicester City in 2023 and became one of their most influential players during his time at the club.
