Career
Born in Madrid on 4 November 1998 to Moroccan parents, Hakimi joined Real Madrid’s academy at the age of seven and progressed through the ranks before making his first-team debut in 2017.
Seeking regular minutes, he enjoyed a highly successful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, where his electric speed and attacking output earned him a reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting young defenders.
