Arsenal announced the signing of Eberechi Eze, who returns to north London, where his football journey began, on a long-term contract, according to the official statement.
British-born Nigerian attacking midfielder transfer saga finally ends as he lands at Emirates Stadium.
“We are so pleased to have completed this deal to bring Eberechi to Arsenal. Eberechi is a creative and explosive talent with huge technical quality – also a big-game player, with his experience at international level with England also underlining his quality and character,” Arsenal Sporting Director Andrea Berta noted.
“There has been excellent teamwork across the club to make this transfer happen, and we are very confident Eberechi will be an important addition to our squad as we continue to build for success,” he added.
According to Transfermarkt, Crystal Palace let Eze go for a transfer fee of around €69.25 million.
Joining Queens Park Rangers in 2016, Eberechi made his breakthrough in the 2019/20 season, being voted as QPR’s Player of the Year, before moving to the Premier League with Crystal Palace in 2020.
During five seasons at Selhurst Park, Eberechi made more than 150 appearances, with his crowning moment coming in May, when he scored the winning goal in the Eagles’ historic FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.

On the international stage, Eberechi represented England at youth levels before earning his senior debut in 2023.
He has since won 11 full caps and was a member of the Euro 2024 squad. In March, he scored his first international goal in a 3-0 win over Latvia in a World Cup 2026 qualifier.
