Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo‘s transfer saga might be coming to an end as Newcastle United are considering a blockbuster €80 million offer to secure the Ghanaian international, according to Fichajes report.

It is believed that manager Eddie Howe aims to strengthen his team’s attack with the help of 25-year-old attacker.

In a standout 2024/25 campaign Semenyo scored 11 goals to help Bournemouth finish 9th, moreover, recently the Ghanaian winger signed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2030.

Despite contract renewal, there were reports on strong interest from Manchester United and Tottenham, even though official talks have never begun.

Semenyo confident ahead of new season after Everton win and contract extension

Semenyo had been strongly linked with several Premier League giants earlier this summer before opting to sign a long-term deal with the Cherries.

Before last season, Semenyo had scored eight goals and assisted three times in 36 matches in the 2023/24 campaign.

He joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Bristol City for €12 million. He remains one of the most invaluable players on manager, Andoni Iraola’s squad.

With Ghana’s Black Stars preparing for the next round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September, Semenyo’s form will be vital. His performance in the beginning of the season proved once again why he is expected to be one of the team’s key attacking weapons.
