Spanish giants Sevilla are set to complete the signing of highly rated Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Abrokwa from lower-tier side Adabraka Elders, sources have exclusively told Footy-Africa.
The 18-year-old winger has reached an agreement with the La Liga club on a long-term contract that will keep him at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán until 2029.
Abrokwa is poised to become the first Ghanaian footballer to join Sevilla directly from a club in Ghana, marking a significant milestone for both the player and Ghanaian football.
Sources close to the negotiations have confirmed that all major aspects of the deal have been agreed, with the transfer expected to be completed in the coming days.
The talented winger has attracted attention with his performances for Adabraka Elders after previously developing at Peace Boys, where he established himself as one of the country’s brightest young prospects.

Known for his pace, direct running and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations, Abrokwa has been closely monitored by European scouts over the past year.
The teenager is represented by Daniel Boifio Junior and Jorge Garcia of SBE Management, who successfully negotiated the move to the seven-time UEFA Europa League winners.
Sevilla view Abrokwa as a player for the future and are expected to integrate him gradually into the club’s development pathway as he adapts to Spanish football.
The move represents another significant step for Ghanaian talent making the transition to Europe’s top leagues and offers Abrokwa the opportunity to continue his development at one of Spain’s most renowned clubs.
