The Turkish Super Lig is the highest level of professional football in Turkey and has continued to attract a growing number of African players in recent seasons. Many of them have gone on to make a strong impact at their respective clubs and establish themselves as key players in the league.
Their impressive performances have also earned them huge salaries. However, the transfers completed this summer have changed things and added several interesting twists to the rankings.

Victor Osimhen (€21 million per year)
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen ranks as the highest earning African footballer in the Turkish Super Lig with a total annual earning of around €21 million at champions Galatasaray. While Osimhen’s basic salary of €15 million per year falls below Salah’s €17 million, the Nigerian star edges his Egyptian counterpart in bonuses.
The former Napoli star earns around €5 million in bonuses annually following his €75 million move to the club last summer. The 27-year-old has repaid the Cimbom’s investments in him by leading them to three trophies since joining the club, including their fourth successive Super Lig title last season, and has already scored 59 goals from 74 appearances across all competitions.

Mohamed Salah (€17 million)
Former Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah closely follows Osimhen on this list with an annual fixed earnings of around €17 million. However, the Egyptian captain is also expected to earn around 20% of the revenue from official Salah-branded merchandise sold by Trabzonspor.
The 34-year-old has become the latest superstar to move to the Super Lig this summer and will be looking to replicate the form he showed during his time in the English Premier League, as he embraces a new challenge alongside Paul Onuachu and former Liverpool teammate Darwin Nunez.
Wilfried Singo (€7.5 million)
Ivorian versatile defender Wilfried Singo ranks third with an annual take home of €7.5 million at Turkish champions Galatasaray. The 25-year-old joined the club from Monaco in 2025 and was an influential player in his debut season for the club, helping them to the league title last season.
While he has been linked with an exit this summer, the former Torino defender has opted to remain in Istanbul and will be eyeing another big role as Galatasaray kick off their title defence against Corum on Friday.

Andre Onana (€6.8 million)
Cameroon and Trabzonspor shot-stopper Andre Onana is the fourth highest earning African footballer in the Turkish Super Lig with an annual take home of around €6.8 million. The 30-year-old earns about €4.38 million as basic salary and an additional €2.5 million as bonuses at the Black Sea Storm.
Onana initially joined the club on a loan deal last summer and the deal was renewed for another year after he impressed and helped the club win the 2026 Turkish Cup title, defeating Konyaspor 2-1 in the final in May.

Mario Lemina (€4.38 million)
Former Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina completes this list with an annual income of €4.38 million after recently signing a new two-year deal at Turkish champions Galatasaray. The 32-year-old has been at the club since 2025 before his contract expired at the end of last summer.
However, he was handed an improved offer and will now potentially remain at the Turkish club until 2028, aiming to help them maintain their dominance domestically and mount a more serious challenge in the UEFA Champions League.
