The 2025–26 European club season is gradually drawing to a close, and several African players have already enjoyed impressive campaigns, lighting up Europe with their goalscoring exploits and helping their teams achieve success.
While the UEFA Europa League has already concluded with Aston Villa lifting the trophy, the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League finals are still to be played later this month, rounding off what has been another strong season for African footballers across Europe.
Here are the five African players with the most goals across Europe’s three major club competitions this season.
Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace, 9 goals)
Senegalese forward Ismaila Sarr is set to finish the 2025–26 season as the highest-scoring African footballer in European club competitions after netting nine goals to help Crystal Palace reach the UEFA Conference League final, marking the club’s first-ever European final.
The Eagles will face Spanish side Rayo Vallecano in the final later this month, giving Sarr another opportunity to add to his tally this season.
The 28-year-old has already scored in both legs of the quarterfinal and semifinal ties and will be hoping to cap off the campaign with another goal in the final to help his side secure the trophy.

Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray, 7 goals)
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen finished the season with seven goals in the UEFA Champions League for Turkish champions Galatasaray, helping them reach the Round of 16 for the first time since the 2013–14 season.
The 27-year-old was also named Player of the Match on four occasions, the most by any player in the competition this season and it has come as no surprise that he continues to attract interest from several top European clubs, including Real Madrid and Barcelona, ahead of the summer transfer window.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart, 5 goals)
Moroccan midfielder Bilal El Khannouss also scored five goals in the UEFA Europa League as Stuttgart exited the competition at the Round of 16 stage following defeat to Portuguese champions FC Porto.
The on-loan Leicester City midfielder joined the German side on a season-long loan deal last summer but now looks increasingly likely to remain on a permanent basis following his impressive performances this season, which also helped Stuttgart secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund, 4 goals)
Guinea international Serhou Guirassy finished the season with four goals in the UEFA Champions League, with Borussia Dortmund suffering a disappointing exit to Atalanta in the first knockout round.
The 30-year-old will also be disappointed with his return after finishing as joint-top scorer last season alongside Raphinha with 13 goals. Guirassy now appears likely to leave Germany this summer amid interest from several clubs, particularly AC Milan in Serie A.
