Ivorian winger Bazoumana Toure could be on his way out of German side Hoffenheim this summer amid renewed interest from Liverpool.
The former Premier League champions are preparing for a major rebuild this summer as they look to get back to competing for trophies after a difficult campaign during the 2025-26 season, which saw them finish in fifth place in the league and also without a major trophy.
Meanwhile, they need to replace Mohamed Salah, who has already left the club, while French striker Hugo Ekitike will miss the earlier part of the campaign with a ruptured Achilles tendon, which he suffered in April.
Profile
Toure began moved to Hoffenheim during the 2026 winter transfer window from Swedish club Hammarby and immediately became a key part of the team.
The youngster made 32 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring five times and providing 12 assists to help them seal a return to European football.
The 20-year-old is very versatile and can play across multiple positions on the pitch. He played majorly as a left winger last season, but also featured in the opposite flanks as well as in the centre forward position in some games as well.

Potential transfer breakdown
According to Transfermarkt, Bazoumana Toure is valued at around โฌ40 million, which makes him the most valuable player at Hoffenheim and the fourth most valuable Ivorian footballer in the world.
Meanwhile, Hoffenheim are reportedly willing to consider offers within the range of โฌ40-50 million before they can agree to a sale in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old is currently in action for Ivory Coast at the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament, and a very impressive performance could see Liverpool step up their interest in him and pursue a deal. However, they will face competition from Newcastle United and Manchester United for his signature and will need to move quickly to afford losing him to their rivals.
