Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi could be set for an early exit from French club Olympique Marseille once the summer transfer window opens, as he looks for more playing time away from the club.

The 22-year-old joined the nine-time French champions in a €6 million deal from Belgian side Zulte Waregem during the winter transfer window, but has struggled for a breakthrough and has been limited to just a few substitute appearances.

Despite being a key player during his time in Belgium, even helping Zulte to gain promotion to the top-flight, Nnadi has found it difficult to get regular playing time in the French Ligue 1 and the departure of Roberto De Zerbi, who brought him to the club, has not helped his situation.

The Nigerian midfielder has played only 34 minutes across four appearances and is expected to seek a summer exit in search of regular playing time to boost his development and also help his chances with the national team.

With only a few months left until the summer transfer window, the young midfielder is not expected to be short of suitors, although Marseille might be looking to do a deal on loan rather than sanction a permanent sale for a player they signed only a few months back.

Here are four potential destinations for the Nigerian midfielder during the summer.

Zulte Waregem (Belgium)

Belgian Super League side Zulte Waregem could make a bid to resign Tochukwu Nnadi during the summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of another season in the top-flight.

The move would make sense for Nnadi, who will need little time to adapt, having previously made 58 appearances across all competitions between 2024 and 2026 at the club before his departure to join Marseille.

Hertha Berlin (Germany)

German second division side Hertha Berlin previously expressed an interest in signing Tochukwu Nnadi and could return with another offer, especially if they manage to secure promotion to the German top flight.

The Blue-Whites would offer regular playing time, which could give them the edge in getting a deal done in time.

West Ham United (England)

Premier League side West Ham United could emerge as a strong contender for Tochukwu Nnadi in the summer transfer window, especially if they manage to retain their top-flight status.

The Hammers are currently fighting to avoid relegation, and with the possibility of midfield departures at the end of the season, bringing in Nnadi would be a sensible move. The Nigerian midfielder would also likely get valuable playing time as part of the squad rebuild.

Brighton & Hove Albion (England)

Brighton & Hove Albion are another club that could show interest in Nnadi, particularly if Carlos Baleba completes a potential move to Manchester United.

Brighton’s track record of developing young players makes them an attractive destination, and a move there could provide the midfielder with the right environment to grow his game and possibly set him up for a bigger step later in his career.
